Practical Driving Test
The road test or behind the wheel test, tests driving competency, ability, and safety. Utilizing resources such as DrivingTest.com and of course the absolutely free government resources is the logical first step for test preparation. The road test is an actual operational test. Practical training by a skilled driver or a formal physical driver's training program is recommended.

The road test or behind the wheel test, tests driving competency, ability, and safety; most states road test is based on a point system to measure the same. Knowledge of Traffic Laws and rules of the road, and strict adherence to the same is essential to successfully pass the road test. Road test vary and often include parallel parking, intersection stops, u-turning, etc.
Road tests are approximately 30 minutes. In most cases the examiner will inform you of driving mistakes and errors at completion of the exam.

Requires valid identification and documentation for the road test. Road tests are approximately 40 minutes. Driving knowledge, knowledge of traffic rules and regulations, and driving skills, are tested to ensure driving competency. The road test includes two maneuver requests.

Requires valid identification and documentation for the road test. All directions will be given by the examiner at the beginning of the test. Strict adherence to driving safety is evaluated. Driving ability and knowledge is assessed.
Road tests are approximately 35 to 80 minutes varying by license type.
