The RTA (Road and Traffic Authority) is a division of the Australian government, responsible for:
- Improving Road Safety.
- Managing roads to maximize their efficiency.
- Inspection of vehicles.
- Managing the New South Wales national highway system.
- Testing and issuing Driver’s Licenses.
